This seems to good to be true, is it?
We believe our product and services are superior to anyone doing this in Charlotte, NC. Our STR Turnkey Management product is a no brainer for current long term landlords and investors wanting to purchase a STR.
How do we make money?
We have mastered the short term marketing and understand what it takes to maximize return on single family homes in Charlotte. We have software, systems and processes set up to streamline the process of getting you (the landlord) the most ROI using our proven process. We make money from the increased ROI we generate with our short term marketing system and strategy.
Why would I turn my long term rental into a short term?
The facts are you can 2-4x your return when moving from long term to short term rentals (less than 30 days). Studies show your place is better taken care of, professional cleaners come weekly, and less wear and tear since people are only there a few days at a time. These short term tenants don’t have time to “settle” and we know that is a big problem. Can you get that with your long term tenant?
What's the catch?
We have privately tested our solutions on properties in Charlotte for the past 3years to verify it works. The catch is that it’s a brand new concept and most people have never heard of it. We project in 8-10 years everyone will list their properties as short term rentals and there will be multiple MyTripify’s floating around.
Why don't I just convert my property to short term instread of using MyTripify?
You definitely can do that…but it’s harder than you think. It takes roughly 10 hours to list a property (take professional photos, optimize listing, etc). It takes an additional 5 hours a week to properly manage the listing, adjust pricing, communicate with guests, set up cleaning, etc. Most people don’t want to work an additional hour per day unless the boss says so. We have a team, software and streamlined systems to handle all that for you.
Is this legal?
MyTripify LLC is a fully licensed and insured real estate firm in the state of NC. It’s a common misconception that Airbnb operators don’t need a license. On the contrary, any person or other entity who for a compensation sells, buys, auctions, leases, or rents real estate for others is required to be licensed with the NC Real Estate Commission per NC General Statute 93A-2. EVERY short term rental property manager in NC must be in compliance. Not doing so drastically increases liability for both the property owner and operator, so be careful who you rely on to manage your assets.
How much does it normally cost to use a property management company?
Most STR property management companies charge around 25% straight off the top to manage your property. We come in at only 20% to get full turnkey STR Management. All you are responsible for is telling us where to send the check every month.
Are all properties good Short Term Rentals?
No, they are not. Most are not good short term rentals, to be honest. It takes a great property that is furnished well in a solid location to be a slam dunk. Also, a team to manage everything on the backend but we have that covered.
